Why does the Academy use YouTube to display videos?

To help everyone see our tutorial videos, we use YouTube. YouTube allows viewers to turn on Closed Captions to assist the hearing impaired. Through YouTube, Closed Captions can also be translated into one of over 100 languages to assist viewers who do not speak English.

To turn on Closed Captions, click the CC icon at the bottom of each video. To translate Closed Captions to another language, click on the cog icon at the bottom of each video, and choose one from the ‘Subtitles/CC’ dropdown menu.

We believe that our videos perfectly illustrate the tools available within the eSchools platform. If YouTube is blocked at your school, consider liaising with your IT support to allow full or limited access for all or certain users.
