1) What do I need to do to ensure eSchools updates for the new school year?

If all the information on your MIS (i.e. SIMS) has been updated all you need to do is ensure it’s turned on so we can pull across the new information. Our team are monitoring this for you, but please get in touch if we don’t get to you first!

2) We’re changing MIS over the summer. Will this affect the integration with eSchools?

Yes, please make us aware if your are switching to a different MIS as you will need to be reinstalled.

3) When will the new user accounts be created?

Pupils (and their associated contacts) will appear on eSchools on their ‘enrolment date’. New school staff will appear on their ‘contract start date’.

4) When will the updated class structures appear in eSchools?

The updated classes will appear after you’ve performed your academic year rollover in your MIS.

5) How do I create new user logins?

You can create login slips for your users using the user login generator (located on an Administrator dashboard). We’re currently working on an exciting new parent letter generator tool – more information and ‘How to’ video coming soon!

If you use eSchools registers please report this by clicking the contact us button directly above your register. Please provide us with a brief description of the issue i.e names of the missing pupils and our support team will endeavour to resolve this issue as soon as possible. If you don’t use the register feature please contact our support team via the usual channels.

2) What will happen to my class page?

Providing you haven’t moved classes you will keep your class page. Pupils will see the class page of their new class. If you have nay problems with your class page please contact our support team who will be able to help.

3) When will the new user accounts be created?

Pupils (and their associated contacts) will appear on eSchools on their ‘enrolment date’. New school staff will appear on their ‘contract start date’.

If you have any questions or require any assistance please don’t hesitate to contact our support team.

4) How can I reset my class’s passwords

This needs to be done by an administrator. They will need to go to CP (Control Panel) and select classes before selecting the class they wish to reset by clicking the checkbox to the left of the class name before clicking action and then selecting reset passwords. This will trigger an automatic download of a set of new password login slips.
