Spotlight on…The Governor Portal

Our Governor Portal is very popular with governing bodies as it provides a secure area for governors to communicate, collaborate and view school information.

Each Governor has their own account. Your school controls both access (login details) and the shared resources…enabling greater control over your information.

The Clerk of the governing body (or other nominated individual[s]) can upload agendas, minutes and other relevant documentation to the file storage area. They can then choose which governors need to have access to each document.

A great place to store all governing body meeting dates, as well as any other key dates, within the school’s calendar.

Create groups for the various sub-committees in your governing body. Group homepages are a great place to share resources and information with other group members.

Send secure messages from governor to governor, meaning long email threads will be a thing of the past. This is a great alternative to sending messages to a governor’s personal email inbox that your school has no control over.
Also, coming soon is Governor Chat which will provide a brand new forum for whole governing body discussions!
